The installation preparation of dissolved air flotation equipment is very important, and it is rarely moved, so it is necessary to make preparations in advance and make layout planning.

Precautions for installation of dissolved air flotation:

(1) The electrical box of the dissolved air flotation machine shall be placed on the side of the escalator, and the environment shall be clean.

(2) Before installing the dissolved air flotation machine, the foundation must be tamped. The concrete mortar cushion block is 100-150mm high. It can also be installed overhead, but the foundation must be able to bear the weight of the equipment during operation.

(3) The clean water outlet can be connected to the drain outlet of the sewer. If it is necessary to enter the next treatment process, it can be directly connected to the next treatment equipment.

(4) After the equipment is in place, the liquid level needs to be adjusted.

(5) The connecting pipe between the sewage inlet and the reaction tank shall be as short as possible to avoid damaging the flocs in the pipe.

(6) Sludge outlet can be connected to sludge tank or sludge treatment equipment.

(7) The dissolved air flotation machine needs to be equipped with a sewer pipe for cleaning, which can be dug into an open channel or directly connected to the regulating tank through a pipe, so that the water for flushing the air flotation tank can be discharged.

Preparation before dissolved air flotation installation:

1. The size of the equipment was communicated with the manufacturer of the air flotation machine, and the installation position was carefully planned to ensure the convenience of water inflow and outflow. Moreover, mechanical assistance such as cranes and forklifts is generally required for installation, which should be convenient.

2. To prepare the foundation, the foundation must be tamped. And use concrete mortar to pad 100-150mm high. It can also be installed overhead, but the foundation must be able to bear the weight of the equipment during operation. Do not pile up sundries around, and adjust the level after the equipment is in place.

3. Try to avoid humid environment. Generally, it is recommended to install the equipment indoors. If it is outdoors, it is recommended to build a rain shelter.
