1. Before the installation of air flotation machine equipment, the foundation must be made with concrete. It can also be installed overhead, but the foundation must be able to bear the weight of the equipment during operation (the weight of the tank filled with water).

2. After the equipment of the air flotation machine is in place, the air flotation machine needs to be leveled, and a sewer for cleaning needs to be set up, or it can be directly connected to the regulating tank by pipeline.

3. The connecting pipe between the wastewater inlet and the reaction tank shall be as short as possible to prevent the flocs from being damaged in the pipe.

4. The clean water outlet can be connected to the clean water reservoir or directly to the next processing equipment

5. The outlet of suspended solids can be connected to the sludge thickener or filter press for treatment by the sludge dehydrator.

6. The electrical box shall be generally placed on the side of the escalator with protective rainproof device.

Startup operation process of air flotation machine

1. Turn on the main switch of the electric control cabinet and check whether all electrical components are normal.

2. Check the lubrication of each mixing motor and water pump, and add lubricating oil as appropriate.

3. First of all, when starting the air flotation machine, first start the high-pressure pump, fully open the water inlet valve and water outlet valve. After the high-pressure pump operates normally, slowly close the water outlet valve, and observe the pressure gauge at any time to adjust the pressure to 0.35~0.45mpa. After many times of operation, the air flotation machine does not need to adjust the inlet and outlet valves, but only needs to open the high-pressure pump.

4. After the high-pressure pump is started, it must operate normally for 5 minutes. When milky white liquid appears in the flotation tank, the sewage pump can be opened. At the same time, the dosing pumps of polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide can be opened. The opening degree of the dosing valve can be adjusted according to experience. The best state is to make the water clear and transparent. Then turn on the motor switch of the mechanical filter tank. The clean water treated by the air flotation machine flows through the filter material layer in the filter tank, and the treated water enters the clean water reservoir.

5. When the sludge layer in the air flotation tank reaches the thickness, open the motor of the mud scraper.

6. Adjust the outlet plate and the water level in the air flotation tank, so that the scum can be smoothly scraped by the mud scraper to the mud collecting tank for drainage.

Solution to common faults of air flotation machine

1. Small dissolved air volume: check whether the dissolved air releaser and dissolved air pump are blocked and whether the impeller of the dissolved air pump is normal.

2. No dissolved water: check whether the valve is opened, whether the dissolved air releaser is blocked, whether the compressor operates normally, and whether the air supply is insufficient.

3. The contact area has uneven scum surface, large bubbles or unstable water flow, and the releaser should be taken down for drainage; The uneven surface of the scum in the separation area and the common rupture of large bubbles on the pool surface indicate poor adhesion of bubbles and flocs, so the coagulation system should be checked and adjusted; Unqualified effluent is returned to the collecting well, and qualified effluent enters the subsequent treatment system.

4. When the machine is started, the dissolved water is normal, and after half an hour, there is no dissolved water: it may be related to the automatic electrical equipment part of the gas supply. It should be checked whether the manual and automatic change-over switches are put in place, and whether the automatic control lines fall off.

5. Long term non use and shutdown after startup: the reason is that the self-protection line has fallen off or the contact resistance of the self-protection line at the point is too large. At this time, the self-protection line should be installed to eliminate the contact resistance of the self-protection point.

6. Automatic shutdown after starting the dissolved air pump: it may be because the protective current of the circuit thermal relay is set improperly.
