There are mainly three types of commonly used air flotation machines: dissolved air flotation machine, shallow air flotation machine, and cavitation air flotation machine. Let's briefly introduce these three types.
Dissolved air flotation machine:
The dissolved air flotation machine adopts a new and efficient dissolved air equipment - microbubble generator, which replaces the traditional air entraining equipment to dissolve air into water. Several inclined tube groups are installed in the air flotation area, including a box, a slag scraper, and a screw extractor to form a complete air flotation water purification device. Theoretically, the treatment effect of air flotation is not directly related to the residence time, but only related to the area of air flotation. If the air flotation area in water depth H is reduced to water depth H/10, the air flotation distance and residence time will be reduced by 10 times, which is the famous "shallow pool theory". The purpose of adding inclined pipes in the air flotation area is to increase the air flotation area, greatly reduce the Reynolds coefficient, avoid the air flotation in turbulent state, and create a good laminar state to achieve the effect of shallow air flotation.
Shallow air flotation machine:
High efficiency shallow air flotation machine is a machine that uses small bubbles or tiny bubbles to make impurities in the medium surface. In the process of water supply and drainage treatment, solid and liquid separation technology and equipment are one of the key processes. Air floatation is the most effective method for the removal of small suspended particles whose specific gravity is close to water.
Concave air flotation machine:
CAF (Cavitation Air Flotation) system is the world's original patented water treatment equipment, and also the export recommended technology of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Environmental Protection Agency. CAF is a system specially designed for removing grease, colloid and suspended solids (SS) from industrial and municipal sewage.
Application of air flotation machine:
1. Treatment of oily wastewater in petrochemical industry and machinery manufacturing industry: the effect of treating oily wastewater with electrolytic gas floatation is good. The iron plate is used as the electric reactor, and the removal rates of floating oil, emulsified oil and LAS are 95%, 92% and 93.3% respectively within 15 minutes through the electric floatation. The oily wastewater is treated by jet flotation. The oil removal efficiency is about 70% (without any chemical reagent). Adding filler can increase the oil removal efficiency by about 12%. The high concentration emulsion oily wastewater is treated by biological oxidation process with two * air floaters. The total removal rates of CODcr and oil are 99.5% and 99.9% respectively.
2. Treatment of papermaking wastewater, recovery of pulp fiber and filler: the removal rate of BOD5/CODcr, SS and TP in the pretreated papermaking wastewater after the cavitation air flotation machine and coagulation sedimentation is as high as 90%~99.5%, and the effluent quality meets the discharge standard of papermaking wastewater. The paper making wastewater was treated by side filter air floatation to achieve closed circulation, which solved a series of problems such as putrefaction, scale and slime in the process of wastewater circulation. The paper machine white water from papermaking wastewater was treated by packed air flotation column. The removal rates of CODcr, BOD5 and SS were 84.3%, 79.4% and 98%, respectively. The effluent color was low and clear, which could be used as process backwater.
3. Treatment of electroplating wastewater and wastewater containing heavy metal ions: adsorption colloid flotation is used to treat electroplating wastewater. The concentration of residual cobalt is less than 3mg/L. The carrier flotation method is used to treat heavy metal ion wastewater with good results. The recovery rate of Ni2+, Cu2+and single precipitation flotation of Ni and Cu by air flotation column is more than 90%. In the mixed precipitation flotation process of polymetallic ions, the metals have the role of activation and carrier flotation.
4. Treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater and wool washing wastewater: the adsorption air flotation method is used to effectively remove cationic dyes, direct dyes and acid dyes, with high decolorization rate and wide adaptability. The towel dye wastewater is treated by coagulation air floatation biological oxidation process. The removal rate of CODcr, BOD5, SS and chroma reaches 80%. The dye auxiliary plant wastewater is treated by countercurrent air floatation filtration. The removal rate of COD and chroma is about 90%. The organic printing and dyeing wastewater with high sulfide content is treated by biological air floatation filtration. The CODcr, BOD5, S2 and chroma in the wastewater are discharged up to the standard. The removal rate is above 90%, and the purified water can be reused.
5. Treatment of tannery wastewater, urban domestic sewage and eutrophication precursor: The comprehensive tannery wastewater is treated with biological treatment method of air flotation machine. The removal rates of CODcr, BOD5, TSS, TOG, sulfide and total chromium are all above 95%, reaching the reuse standard. The effect of treating eutrophication precursors such as algae by air floatation is good. The removal rates of hotel wastewater, oil, COD and SS by electro flocculation and electro flotation are 99%, 88% and 98% respectively
