Structural features:
The main body of the equipment is a rectangular carbon steel structure. The main components are composed of dissolved air pump, air compressor, dissolved air tank, rectangular box, air flotation system, and mud scraping system.
1. The bubbles produced by the dissolved air tank are small, the particle size is 20-40um, and the flocs are firmly adhered, which can achieve a good air flotation effect;
2. The amount of flocculant used is less and the cost is reduced;
3. The operating procedures are easy to master, the water quality and quantity are easy to control, and the management is simple.
4. Equipped with a backwash system, the releaser is not easy to be blocked.
So, what are the reasons for the poor air flotation effect?
1. Failure of the releaser: Generally, the releaser is constantly blocked, but in case of blockage, large bubbles will appear in the air flotation contact area, which will be flotated by bad sticky air and impact scum, causing the scum to lose its stability and lead to production. The water is cloudy.
2. Slag scraping problem: When the slag scraper moves too fast when scraping the slag, the lower scum will be sheared and broken, and the scum will be in a state of turbulence and will flow out with the water. The flotation effect is not good.
3. Sewage flow: The influence of sewage flow on the treatment effect cannot be ignored. During the operation of the air flotation equipment, the water distribution in each air flotation tank needs to be uniform. Changes in flow rate mean changes in the amount of pollutants, so it is necessary to adjust the amount of reagents in time to achieve the best results.
When the sewage flow rate is too large, the horizontal flow rate of the air flotation tank is accelerated, and the residence time is shortened, which is not conducive to the flocculation separation; When the water volume is too large, the height of the outlet weir should be adjusted in time to prevent sewage from entering the scum system.
4. The effect of flocculant and pH on air flotation: Generally speaking, the higher the COD concentration of raw water, the more chemical substances need to be added. The higher the concentration of the raw water suspension, the greater the dosage of the drug that needs to be added. There is an optimal dose for flocculation. Exceeding this dosage will reduce the flocculation effect, and exceeding too much will have the opposite protective effect. In addition, attention should be paid to the dosage ratio and order of administration.
Coagulants, such as PAC, can break down hydrophobic groups during hydrolysis, allowing suspended solids and oil to flocculate with each other, while allowing some dissolved proteins to settle out as small particles.
The flocculant PAM has a large molecular weight and has the functions of adsorption, bridging, connection and cleaning. It makes the small particles initially formed under the action of the coagulant adsorb and connect with each other, thereby forming large flocs, which are quickly separated from water. In this way, under the combined action of PAC and PAM, larger flocs are formed, and the wastewater needs to add PAC before PAM.
At present, most of the flocculants PAM are acidic flocculants with a suitable pH value. When the pH value of the sewage exceeds the optimum pH value, the flocs will be dissolved or broken, which will have a very adverse effect on the air flotation separation of the air flotation equipment. Therefore, during operation, the pH of the incoming water should be monitored.
5. Dissolved air and water volume, reflux ratio and dissolved air tank pressure: The turbidity of the dissolved air water source should be lower, and the lower the turbidity, the easier the air will dissolve; to decide.
The higher the pressure of dissolved air and water, the easier the oxygen dissolves in the water. The optimal pressure range is 4.0-5.0kg/cm2. The pressure of the dissolved air tank can be adjusted by the air-floating dissolved air water outlet valve. pressure drops. If the raw water flocs increase, the reflux ratio can be appropriately increased, but the pressure of the dissolved air and water must be taken into account; at the same time, the normal working state of the reflux pump is guaranteed.
